I wanted to do something similar to what I have been doing throughout this class but I wasn't sure how to make it 3 colors. I wanted to make something cool and unique with bland colors like black, grey, white, tan, brown, etc. I was thinking of making a logo for a product that I would want to create on my own. I continued thinking of what to do and an image popped in my head. I wanted to make a logo for a PC brand that I can make up. The logo would consist of shurikens on the sides with a face of some sort in the front. I began to look for images on the web to base my logo off of and here is what I came up with.
Once I got the images into Adobe Illustrator, I decided to make a grey square background that the decal can sit on, then over top I will put the shurikens facing the same direction. I wanted to make these dark red, but ended up changing it. I also changed the square in the back. I wanted to make my logo look clean, so I decided that the square was too clunky. I kept the skull outline black so my 3 colors will be black, red, and grey. Here is the final outcome.
Throughout this project, I learned how to install Adobe Illustrator on my PC at home. I learned how to changed colors on an image and was able to ungroup the image and change specific parts. I was able to use the tools I was given to create a logo and make the final project turn out how I imagined it in my head. I changed some parts from my original to my final but I like how it turned out. In the future this will be a good tool for creating more decals when we get inside the classroom, and I also have knowledge on tools I didn't know before because of this experience.
